1. What is the personal information that we collect?

We only allow online payments from Nigerian Interswitch Debit cards and we do NOT store Interswitch Debit card payment details.

Enrolling in our Member or joining a Hardcover Limited online interactive community

When you enroll as a Member, we will ask you to submit personal information as part of your Member profile. The personal information you submit is held in a Member database. When you use your membership, the transaction information for your purchase, including personal information, is copied and stored in the Member database so that we can administer the Member program. If you use a Bank’s ATM online to make payments, we will use the personal information stored in your account and/or require you to input additional personal information, such as ATM card information, to complete your payment.

Submitting a comment, a list, or other user-created content

You may choose to submit a member’s comment online on books or to participate in Hardcover Limited’s online community. Because any information you post such as comments or in the community will be available on the Internet, we can make no assurances that others will not use, or misuse, that information.

Signing up for Newsletters and Alerts

You may choose to sign up for Newsletters and Alerts filled with recommendations and reviews for books and magazines during registration. You can choose to subscribe or unsubscribe later in your member profile.


Signing up for the Affiliate Programme

Our Invite-a-Friend feature is located in Affiliate programme area of the website. This feature allows members to invite friends to join their reading community. It appears as a page where member’s can add their friends email and automatically invite the friend or friends to view the hardcoverlimited.com page or attend the event described on that page.
To remove yourself from the affiliate programme just visit your affiliate programme page and delist yourself.

Contacting Customer Service

When you contact customer service, we may ask you to provide, or confirm, personal information so that we can better serve you.

If you do not have a hardcoverlimited.com account, you may opt-out of the receipt of such communications by selecting the link at the bottom of any promotional e-mail communication and following the instructions.

Even if you opt out of receiving Promotional Communications and newsletters you may continue to receive e-mails relating to book order, due date notifications, membership information, and/or other business-related communications.

Note for Community Users

Hardcover Limited provides you with the ability to access; correct or change the personal information in your community profile(s) at any time. However, you cannot currently change your profile name although you may re-register and choose a new name. Please be advised that Hardcover Limited may archive information it collects on its community and visitors.
Additionally, by participating in the Hardcover Limited online interactive community, and using Hardcover Limited’s various interactive offerings, including, the submission of customer reviews, participation in the Affiliate programme, or signing up for newsletters and alerts, you agree to receive communications from Hardcover Limited and moderators related to the provision of these services.
